Right now I am trying to put together funding for one of my projects. In this economy I can tell you it is not easy. My employees have been the best. They are definitely on top of their game and have been working hard to see this film come together. I would love to go into production by the summer, but it will all depend on the financing. Besides finding this elusive money I still have other scripts to read, a budget to complete and many meetings to see this film come to fruition.

The weekend is almost over....
It has been a nice and relaxing weekend, but it is back to the office tomorrow. The life of a producer is not a 9pm-5pm, but on the weekends that I am not in production I do get the opportunity to relax a little. Before I start to ramble on about my day I should give you a little history on me, Moni Boyce. I am a graduate of USC's School of Cinema-Television (which they now call Cinematic Arts). I busted my butt as an assistant to other producers for four years after graduating and then started independently producing on my own. Four short films and two features later, I started Greenhouse Studios with my sister and a friend. We just got through our first year as a brick-and-mortar company with five employees.
